Joshua Tree Lake Campground — on the festival grounds. Working the event? Ask the crew lead for the designated staff camping area before choosing a pitch. My first choice is an approved, level spot with morning shade from trees or an existing shade structure, a reasonable walk to water and showers, and separation from speakers, toilets and vehicle lanes. Check where the shade moves during the day. Tree cover and individual pitches are not verified, so have staff point out the best shaded space available. Secure a canopy if natural shade is limited.
Public admission includes walk-in tent camping; vehicle camping uses a separate pass. Crew camping and vehicle access may follow different arrangements — confirm yours with the crew lead. Family Camp is a designated family area in the northwest corner, quieter after dark but active with children in the morning.
